Director

Co-Founder Patrick Dyer is a Member and Director of Trapezoid.  Operationaly Patrick  oversees the planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of Trapezoid. He provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

Patrick has been in the information technology services for 15 years, with experience leading both resale in South Florida and international distribution into the Caribbean. Patrick is the president of DigitalEra Group, LLC, and has led the company through five years of double digit growth. Through this channel Patrick has become the trusted security advisor for several of South Florida’s biggest corporations, health care organizations and universities.  

He is responsible for the administration, finance and operations (2000 to present) of McAfee’s largest Caribbean distributor, Digital Logistix, LLC. Patrick pioneered the “Dynamic Trade” and the “Plug and Play” distribution models into the Caribbean. After gaining the leading market share in the region, they were named McAfee “Distributor of the Year” for four consecutive years.

He previously held management positions with Merisel Latin America, Inc, and Microsoft, Inc. Through his work with emerging technologies Patrick has developed successful business relationships with leaders in information security innovation. These technologies are tested in DigitalEra’s labs where Patrick supports the development of strategic security initiatives.

He has a BBA in Management and Marketing from the University of Miami.
